Space concepts at the Berlin Mitte power station

As one of the largest logistics companies in the world, the DPDHL Group connects people worldwide and boosts the economy. The company operates an innovation centre in order to secure its position in the future as a globally active impulse generator and provider of ideas for the logistics sector.

Its developments were presented to guests from politics, public institutions and businesses at the Postfest 2016.

In a multistaged qualification process the former powerplant Berlin Mitte was selected as the event venue and an extensive concept was developed.

We created several experience areas and succeeded in conveying the central message of the evening: “To the beat of our time. Worldwide. Powerful. Acting”, perceptibly and tangibly. Here, the latest novelties from the Innovation Centre were presented and the dialogue with the guests on specialist topics was initiated.

“Show and gastronomy concept.”

The production details included the integration of post-typical vehicles as well as the placement of the company’s core messages on large-format projection surfaces. These projection surfaces were formed by thread curtains which also created the cover for the central area of the event and the stage.

A highlight was a freehanging DHL overseas container with the international claim “Excellence, simply delivered.“.

In addition, a curated show and the gastronomy concept were an integral part of the evening and consisted of moderation, body percussion, dance interludes, live music and a culinary world tour. Between the individual program parts artists interacted with the audience in the experience areas.
